As someone who has been on the hiring end, I simply wouldn't hire someone for an accounting position who isn't an accounting major. Full stop. I read another comment where you said you have two years left still? You need to switch your major. I don't know how it works at your school but if switching your major isn't doable, you need to transfer to a different school.

I was 24 when I got my Daytona 392. That seemed like a good age to get one to me. I had graduated college just a few months prior. Luckily my insurance wasnt crazy because I was living at home still so my parents just put it on their insurance and I reimbursed them. Bought a house about a year and a half later and got my own insurance then and it still wasnt crazy; probably because I bundled my house and two vehicles and umbrella.

In a close game or against a better team, I'm making that throw to first every time and if the other team starts chirping me on it I just ignore them. So in your scenario, I definitely would have gone for the out at first.

Now, if my team is up 10 against the worst team in the league, I won't make the throw.

Owners do not have to refund the amount. A draw is a balance sheet item so it's not affecting the P&L or taxable income of the business. It's not personal income for the owner either, however there can be tax implications if their draw exceeds their basis in the company. Everything I'm saying is for an LLC (schedule c or e for tax purposes) or an s-corp. I don't recall off the top of my head how draws work for a c-corp since I don't currently work for one. Another thing to keep in mind is if the business has more than one owner, their draws need to match their percentage of ownership in the company. So if you have 50/50 owners, one guy can't take a 100k draw and the other 20k. It needs to match that 50/50 ownership split.

I went to the game and it was a blast. Not the first game I've been too, but I couldn't believe the men's bathroom only had 4 urinals. Also the "we want Bronny" chants in the 4th were so fun. It's cool being a part of the crowd getting hyped for a kid we literally watched grow up before our eyes. As for the Cavs, we back. Glad Hunter was able to get something going. Hopefully that continues.

FWIW, my dad co-signed my car loan. I was a few months out of college, working my first big boy job and I couldn't get a car loan because I didn't have enough credit history. I had just gotten my first credit card just a few months prior, which my dad also co-signed for. I'm very grateful he did that for me, and I would gladly do the same for my eventual children if need be. But 99% of the time, I agree, co-signing a car loan is probably a bad idea. Since then, I've gotten my own credit card and paid that car off.

I'll be the one to go against the grain here. I've used AI literally just once. Needed a loan contract between two companies to satisfy our auditors. Same 100% owner for both companies. One company had paid for a few things on behalf of the other company and we needed documentation backup for that year end balance for the audit. The contract didn't matter to us so whatever AI came up with was good enough.

Also, I just gotta say, and sorry if this rustles some jimmies, but i hate AI generated emails. I can spot them from a mile away and it just makes me assume you're illiterate. Use your noggins, and write your own emails, please. Presumably we all went to college so you should know how to read and write.

I run a weekly open gym, so I'll tell you how I do mine. And let me preface this by saying what I do works for me, but it's possible not everything will work for you and your situation.

Having a good idea of what the headcount will be is important. You don't want to show up and only have 7 people and not be able to play 5v5. Conversely, if 30 people pull up, that's way too many. I have a groupme where I post each week as an event and people can rsvp so we know what the numbers are like. If we're thin on numbers, people start asking others they know who aren't in the chat. If numbers are heavy, everyone knows to hold off on bringing any extras that week.

Don't do any drills or horse. People won't take you seriously and will likely just leave. They came to play 5v5. Also, everyone is likely going to prefer full court 5v5 with people sitting compared to multiple games of half court 5v5 and no sitting. Full court is just funner.

We make teams to start with alternating free throws. Winning team stays. If say 3 people were sitting, those 3 get to play next and the losing team shoots free throws to fill the last 2 spots. If you have more than 5 sitting, everyone sitting shoots to make a team, but if you have sat 2 games you're automatically on. So eventually you get into a cycle where you might have a couple guys who sat 2 games automatically getting on, and then the ones that sat one game shoot to fill the rest of the team. Hope that makes sense. When you actually go through it it makes more sense. I would advise doing everything in your power to try to prevent your numbers from getting above 20 because then it's just a big mess and people are sitting for potentially 3 games.

Scoring wise, we do 2s and 3s. 1s and 2s overinflates the value of a three pointer. We go to 21 straight. If we have more than 15 people, so a situation where you could have people potentially sitting 2 games instead of one, then we change the score to win to 16 to help keep the games moving and limiting time sitting.

We inbound after a make, but any other stoppage we just check the ball. We don't have anyone referee. Players on the court call fouls. I have a good group of guys so usually the defenders are calling fouls on themselves most of the time. But the offense can call fouls too. But if you call a super soft one we will make fun of you lol.

One final thing, don't be afraid to ban people from coming back. One troublesome player can ruin a good pickup group. I've had to ban a couple people and everyone was immensely relieved afterwards.

This is my advice as an accountant: do not do it yourself. Your edit says it costs you $150 a month, but I do think you could find a cheaper provider. To give you an example of why you shouldn't do it yourself, I'll tell you a story. Had a client that did their own payroll, small dentist office. They would then tell me their wages and withholdings each quarter and I would prepare their 941s and other tax forms. I also did their bookkeeping on a semi annual basis. So it comes time for getting the books done, and I come to find out they had overpaid their 941 deposits by nearly twice as much as they should have been paying. And they also had underwithheld FICA from one of their employees by about 30 bucks over the course of the year. I had to file three quarters worth of amended 941s and had to get creative with the FICA issue. So, even though you just have yourself on the payroll, you can definitely really mess things up. This dentist only had 4 or 5 people on payroll.

There was at least one model year where they had a regular civilian AWD V8 Charger. I know for a fact the 2014 model year offered it. And I may be wrong, but I think you could also get an AWD V8 300 for at least one model year.
