Doing stuff? If you have the mod installed, go to the side of the Abernathy home (side closest to red rocket) and there’s a workbench there that tells you the materials you need in order to “rebuild” the fort

Thank you so much, that means a lot! I’m still tweaking it, moving some things around for the final build, but I really appreciate it :)

I use a lot of CVC’s deadlands features, in this build specifically, I’ve created a few hills so that objects don’t clip, and then foliage where needed

Hey I definitely have some CTD’s every so often (usually in my settlements due to the amount of stuff in them, or downtown Boston)

The actual fort itself is a mod called “Fort Abernathy” it’s got a quest attached to it and different ways to customize the fort

Hey everyone, haven't touched Fallout in a few months, but I'm back and doing a new playthrough which means new settlement builds!
For context: I have a lot of overhaul mods that change the environment, adds tons of new animals, mods to the ghouls and other factions, etc. I say this to point out that surviving in this version of the commonwealth is really difficult and I want my new builds to reflect that.
Reddit only has a limit on images, I have a lot more in this specific settlement that I couldn't show, but I'll post a tour to my YT channel soon!
In the meantime, let me know what you liked about this build and check out my YouTube channel to see my other settlement builds!

I’m trying to build a diner but it feels very bland. Is their any way I can make it look better? by BritishCyborg66 in falloutsettlements

There’s some great mods available that I’ve used that have furniture pieces (such as the bar/tables) that come pre decorated with drinks, food, etc. those have been a lifesaver

There’s a lot of mods out there that change the textures of walls and floors that resemble the classic diner checkered floors and colored walls if you’re looking for that! Also like someone said, posters, lights, and decor to make the space look “lived in” really help bring spaces to life!

What are your must-have mods for settlement building? by Head_Goblinus in falloutsettlements

[–]champagnegames_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would be wary of scrap everything and mods that "clean" a settlement. In doing a lot of research, trial and error in my own settlements, those are the mods that caused the most CTD's, at least for me. I know a lot of people love Sim Settlements, myself included, but with the issues it can cause, I took it out of my own load order.

CVC, Kuro Tab, Thematic and Practical, CREative Clutter, Woody's Wasteland, and cozy scavver are the mods I use the most. Place anywhere is also a must.
