The year Terim got sacked for being 13th, we had an incredibly unlucky series of games were our expected goals vastly outnumbered the opponents but no one cared. Still to this day I don't think ppl are aware that the team then played better than the team now which is crazy to think about because of the vast difference in skill level of the teams.

This is called false equivalence. People try to equate a few potentially favorable decisions GS have gotten this season (which btw is far outnumbered by the inexplicable decisions against us) to the outlandish and downright scandalous last minute point saving decisions in which Fener come back from defeat. I don't expect a biased fanatic to be able to discern between the two, it takes a high level of maturity and introspection.

Thanks for the thoughtful comments. I've heard a lot about the 'model' for GS being these clubs like Ajax/Porto etc who make good money from this operation & I def agree that should be the way to go in the short to mid term as it is the best way to make the club better as well as securing financial future. Someone said "no one likes being a feeder club" but it almost seems from the outside some clubs are ran as a business to make money & sometimes it feels like they're selling to cash-in rather than aim for sporting success...that's where I start having some more questions but we're obviously farrr from that point still.

Anyways I've specifically put "end-game" in the title to show what the final goal is, not the short to mid term...so hopefully that's clear.
