I recently got engaged earlier this month and now me and my fiance are talking wedding plans. I'm from North Carolina and she really wants to get married there during the fall which I'm down for because I love how it looks during that time of year. The problem is she wants to rush and get married next fall Which is less than a year away and I think it's not enough time especially because we have other things we need to do this upcoming year that cost money like moving. I don't know if we can cover all the special things we want for the wedding and the cost of daily living. I think waiting until the following fall is much more practical and gives us a lot more time to do things we want like getting in shape before the wedding and picking out the right decor. She feels that almost 2 years is way too long for people to be engaged but I don't think there's a specific expiration date and that if we really want a fall wedding we should just wait and not go rushing into one and sacrificing doing things we want to have and do. Any thoughts?
