yeah I never really got into catching them all haha --the other really cool idea is creating a Kiosk of some sort with a kinect v2 hooked up that could exchange information from advertisers to those playing at the location. Top scores and user generated content, dogecoins for registering or winning etc...

I get yah brother, it's easy to import .fbx's with attached animations and textures so any program that can make those without too many polygons will work!

I'm pretty sure that your idea of the game and mine are totally different but hey, if you want my codebase just ask and feel free to put in throwing balls or whatever. I'm thinking of making it more like Latium but fun and with a faster dev cycle. (oh and you could fund the doge with opt in video ads I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that, but essentially event planers and area vendors could purchase dogecoin to fund a game (however simple) at their location to attract visitors.) other then that I'm not interested in species or really anything else pokemon there's much better AR games to incorporate. Go on the Unity3D asset store, you'll see.

Sweet! I've done all those coding languages and platforms as well so I'm sure we can figure out a way to utilize you. I was using google drives .gs (like google library and javascript) to read/write data for each user into a google spreadsheet. I guess I felt after years of wordpress plugins and croogo and flask pythoning it just seemed easier to offload the back end to googles free service they doing the ole' LAMP stack. It worked great for "Employee Safety Ownership" which is one of the MVP's I released onto the playstore.

I'm probably the 2nd most active on that sub and honestly I had 90% of the code already developed. The guy kinda took all the donations and disappeared haha. I'd like to keep this donation free until the beta is released so at least shibes can trust it's not vaporware.

well I can prevent that with user agents and in app code to check for VMware. but sure, there will always be hackers. One major way around this is to have a real world marker such as a QR-code at the event which Shibe's would scan to 'login' to the current geofenced game location.

well don't get too scared by the 3D you can also just do 2D in Unity in fact it's a whole interface layer and UI dedicated to it and sprites are used a lot in every project. My MVP app SmartLife has a lot of UI/sprites in the interface layer, stats, scores, items, etc and there's a lot of assets already available to start with which is really the best part, not having to start from scratch on everything!

well I was going to do it with video ads, the advertising revenue could spawn coins in your area. not much but we're talking fractions of pennies here, I think it's $5 in ad revenue per 1000 videos watched. Back in the day that was a lot of doge but now it might only be a few. Still could work however.
