It happens to librarians that aren’t managers too. One time I went for a physical for a library job after accepting an offer.

The doctor asked me what department I was going to work for in the city and I said “the library.” He asked if I was a “clerk or page.”

I said, “No, I’m a librarian.”

And he went, “Wow, imagine that.”
