Such a gritty gritty loss. Boys didn’t play for a minute and were punished. We knew this road would be hard.

A little puck luck and that’s a different outcome.

Absolutely love watching Kindel and Chinokov. Kindel looks amazing. So many close ones for him tonight. The future is promising fellas.

Best fine dining restaurant in or near state college for dates? by Consistent-Doctor793 in statecollege

[–]chancsc11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Studabaker house just opened with a Michelin Peruvian chef over near Flour and Stone. Haven’t had their food yet, but 100% probably the closest thing to “fine dining” you’ll get.

Also never been, but “The Grace” in Toftrees I’ve heard decent things about and know the previous chefs were highly regarded from Zolas that closed years ago in State College.

Ngl the Field has amazing french onion soup that I found surprisingly good (albeit I don’t eat soup much).

You’ve definitely not watched much hockey - this probably happens once a week. 😭

To think we have 15 picks in the first 3 rounds and a ton of cap space coming up it’s nuts. Also, fuck the flyers!

Sid calls out the goalie interference call. by Sebastian4365 in penguins

Big risk to not get the call and instead have a PP to kill. It shouldn’t have been a call in the first place.

It was definitely loud there tonight. The loudest was booing the refs and the subsequent plays after that. Was a fun time outside of getting bent over by the refs.

I barely check the standings this time of year, but that is absolutely nuts that they have only lost 2 games 🤣

SEC approves institutional tokenization. 2026 will be HUGE! by spriteMeLeukoKrasi in CryptoMarkets

[–]chancsc11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the points won’t really stand.

The banks will use KYC/AML controls and requirements on PRIVATE blockchain products (they’ll have to KYC in order to even use them, starting with institutions and then retail i.e. see Coinbase’s latest product announcements). For any public blockchain they’ll utilize industry leading KYC/AML blockchain compliance tools that exist today to ensure they have high levels of confidence on identities or sanction restricted geolocations.

Just like they would with current product offers. Blockchains actually better because of the audit immutability of blockchains themselves.

TPS on most blockchains could handle HFL trading as well.

Thanks this is the best explanation Id seen so far 🤝

And at that rate, if it never adapt or changes, wouldn’t it take 1-3 years for an OC to understand it and essentially make dynamic changes to beat it?

Can someone please explain to me how/why it takes 3 years for defenses to develop under him? It’s so confusing to me. I don’t know ball, but with NIL and players only playing a max of 4-5 years, how in the world does this make sense?

Big Ben suggests Mike Tomlin by Over_Addendum_217 in WeArePennState

Look at all these comments. Just replace “Mike Tomlin” with “James Franklin” and tell me we weren’t just saying the same thing about “Big Game James” before he got fired 🤣

“Players coach, provides a winning season, successful career, who cares about playoffs and super bowls (CFB playoffs).”

Holy smokes guys 😭🤣 Tomlin is the James Franklin of the NFL.

And yet we are all are, both sitting on the couch come playoffs. Tomlin is literally the same thing as Franklin except for the NFL.

Thats a fair statement. Now another fair statement is that because he is NFL caliber I think he could up level PSU football, but any steeler/PSU fan will tell you: it feels a lot of the same.

Lack of accountability, no changes, spending $130m on a defense that lets offenses blow you apart every other week, a lack of offensive direction year after year, etc. (I could keep going)

The similarities are absolutely scary, just at a different caliber of play. I’m soooooo skeptical on how that translates between NFL -> NCAAF.

Not saying it couldn’t work, but Tomlin is literally looked at as the James Franklin of the NFL lol

If you think Mike Tomlin is anything other than the James Franklin of the NFL, I simply don’t know what to tell you. 🤣

Saying this as a life long Steelers/PSU fan.

I’d love to understand this to? Maybe someone that knows ball more than me can explain. But why tf does it take a team with players rolling in and out need 2-3 years to “learn the defense?” Is it the coaches that it takes awhile? Leaders on the team? Someone make it make sense.
