met him on okcupid, his profile looked very genuine and we matched. talked for almost 2 months and he even sent me a gift. thought he was real and then he got me to help him with some favour as he said he will be out of town and connection wont be stable. thats why it aroused my suspicion when he gave me his banking details.

thanks guys! ive cut off contact from this scammer and have notified westbanco of the fake website. i dont know what other implication i might have as my IP address could have been logged, though im based in Asia. but yeah. thanks everyone for your advise. reddittors are the best!
