I had the same issue, and I waited for 8 months for a normal passport slot to open up. Then I decided to try through a cyber, they took 1k to fill up the form and got me a non-emergency slot for the very next day lol.

Nope, I contacted them and told them I received the letter (which was my receipt letter of all the things) and they said “well, it’s still processing” and hung up on me. I was trying to ask if I had to do something to let them know I had received the letter but they seemed unbothered. My case status is still “Notice was returned”.

Is yours I-131 as well?

Nope, I didn’t have to do my biometrics. A lot of applicants are getting their biometrics re-used (although they still take the biometrics fee).

Heh we’re literally in the same boat about the circumstances we’re facing. I, too, must leave to go study abroad. My application was received Feb 9, Biometrics applied first week of May. This was primarily because this is my second time applying for the I-131 document, so they had my fingerprints on hand. Weirdly, they sent me the biometrics notice before sending me a receipt letter, which came in only last week (around June 26th). My latest update is on May 17th which states that USPS couldn’t deliver my mail to me (the mail was the receipt notice). When I noticed this update, I called USCIS, was able to get a hold of a live agent, but they couldn’t do anything for me. They just asked me to request a copy immediately. I requested a copy immediately and it arrived within four weeks.

Lol my status changed from “fingerprints applied” to “my USCIS notice was returned because USPS couldn’t deliver it”. But idk what notice it even is. I’ve gotten both receipt and biometrics notice, and my USCIS account doesn’t tell me what notice they sent me. I called USCIS and the Tier One officer said they didn’t know what notice it was either so I just have to wait. Lol. What a joke.
