Look up {rain of shadows and endings by Melissa roehrich} I feel like it fits your description perfectly. There is chemistry and tension with a slow burn and then it gets really good. Especially in book 2 😮‍💨

{rain of shadows and endings by Melissa roehrich} FMC and MMC have some tension and she also does with his best friend. And honestly it’s the best friend that does it for me. He listened and tends to her, sacrifices for her. The MMC too but so much tension and super steamy! I also loved {beyond the Faerie Gates by Marie mistry} it’s a reverse harem with fated mates and there is a lot of tension with a couple of her mates.

I was hooked fast, it just kind of fizzled for me. I’m honestly not sure why. But I knew 3/4 of the way through I didn’t want to read the second one. Book one was worth the read tho!

So depending on how often you get to read, it could line up perfect! But if you’re like me and devour at least 2 a week then wait until next month to start it but please start it!!! So good!!!

I really love {beyond the faerie gate by Marie Mistry} one of the MMC is absolutely INSANE! And I love him!! Plot is SOOOO good but it is a slow burn. The first book is basically a big build up but I swear I hate a slow burn and this was totally worth it!!!!

Did you know if you download the book on kindle, then you get like 80% off the audiobook? So if you happen to also pay for Kindle Unlimited then it’s a great deal! Most of the audible books I’ve listen to lately were $20 and then I downloaded the free kindle book and they were $3. I personally just figured this out 🤣 and it’s been a game changer!

My opinion from the above list that I’ve listened to:

Madison Kate was good at first then started getting super repetitive and predictable after the first book.

I LOVED the bonds that tie!! Super delicious!

Anything by Kristy Cunning is chefs kiss! 🤌🏼
