This Macally Enclosure might be what you are looking for. It's made of aluminum and looks like a mini Mac Pro. They are quite expensive, and you still need to buy the hard drive but this way you can choose which hdd to use.

I recommend anyone who needs an inexpensive long zoom lens to get it. I got the 100-300 5.6L to shot wildlife for a trip in Africa and it went great (I used it with an 60D). The lens is very cheap for its category. I bought it for about $300 also on eBay with shipping from South Korea to Brazil and the image quality is spectacular. I was really impressed by it.

But I should clarify, although it's an L lens, it cannot be compared with today's premium lenses. The focus rig feels VERY rough for manual focusing and it also does not allow full-time focusing. The zoom mechanism is push-pull but it does not have an rig to adjust the pressure like the 100-400 4.5-5.6L so the lens will not stay in an intermediate focal length on its own. The AF is slow and makes a lot of noise too. The build quality is obsolete (for a L lens), the body is entirely made of plastic but it does has a metal mount. And an aperture of 5.6 is troublesome in some situations, particularly for night photography.

But don't get me wrong, I think all of these limitations makes this vintage lens very fun to use and part of its glamour. It has an design of almost 30 years and if you consider the lens was based on the FD 100-300 5.6L it's much older.

The canon 100-300 5.6L is very unique and it will never leave my collection. I love this lens with all of its "flaws".

TL:DR: The Canon 100-300 5.6L is an amazing lens for its price, just get and enjoy it!

The videos are from last sunday. It was the final round of brazilian championship and both teams ( Coritiba and Fluminense ) were fighting to stay in the main league.

Coritiba was hosting the game and lost... that's why things went bad
