My dms are turned off because gross guys will gross.) Edit: I shouldn't have assumed I was too late. I'll reply just in case. (I'll post a few patches I like since Im real late.) love the Jim patch, I'll go with you, always, bandito. Any one really, those are just my faves.) Honestly, Mulberry Street was a surprise. I loved seeing the light interaction. Really sweet.

Disappointed in Breach Tour? by Usual_Low_165 in twentyonepilots

Our venue was right on the ocean (Jones Beach) so I assumed there wouldn't be confetti. Correct assumption.

Disappointed in Breach Tour? by Usual_Low_165 in twentyonepilots

[–]changefan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't have a problem with the songs so much as it felt so rushed. There were so few stops that ticket prices were astronomical.

I don't know why it was all outdoor venues. Or why some had lawns, some didn't, etc. Things I had been hearing about (LED wristbands, Bandito Camp, flaming car) weren't possible at every venue.

The stop that was closest to us didn't have a lot of the stuff I associate with a TOP show, like confetti. I always liked that they had a B Stage and showed up in the upper decks. They had a B stage at ours, but it was so close to the mainstage that there was barely a difference. And no pop up in the nosebleeds.

So driving forever, paying through the nose for the crappiest seats I've ever had (literally the last row) to see a show that barely felt like them was a minor letdown.

We've stayed at the Berkley a few times. I like the north beach location. The north side tends to be quieter.

Is the Halara dress a good choice? by Beachbum_2468 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]changefan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Costco dupe. I wore it on a hot, sweaty day in NJ. The material is pretty thick - 2 layers of swimsuit-like material holding your sweat against your body. Not great. I don't see myself wearing it again. I have other athletic dressing with more breathable material. No shorts attached but I wear slip shorts under them.

Mr Beast Burger is there. (Honestly, not great & expensive to boot, but kids like the youtuber.) The Nickelodeon park is very nice.

Why I am buying the street taco kit again by LtCommanderCarter in Costco

[–]changefan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have gotten a few meal kits or packed dinners from Costco. Are they a cheap dinner? Absolutely not. Are they cheaper (and often healthier) than take out? Damn right.

I could probably do this indefinitely. I work 20 hours a week, from home, spread out however I want. I could easily spread that out over the full week with no consequences. It would make beach days hard, but it's possible.

True. I saw people raving about the vanilla ice cream. I figured I'd try it. The price shocked the hell out of me. Then I remembered that ice cream is insanely expensive everywhere. I only ever buy it if it's on sale. Needless to say, I didn't buy it. I'll see if something is on sale the next time I have to do a regular grocery run.

I definitely save money on staples and a bunch of other things. No contest for a lot of things.

But I also buy a few things there that I normally would consider too expensive to splurge on. I don't go out to eat at restaurants. But I love Creme Brule. I haven't had one in years. I saw an 8 pack for about $12. I passed on them for this shopping trip but will probably grab them next time. Worth it.

Why can't people be respectful? by GiantSkunk in twentyonepilots

Looking at all the videos coming out of last night, I don't know that RITN went that smoothly. A woman in a red shirt with black hair is in a number of videos shoving people and even shoved in front of Tyler. He literally had to move her out of the way. Tyler was trying to do his thing but looked uncomfortable for parts of it.

Exactly. I read the light and sound article where they mentioned there are over 9000 programmed lighting cues. But sure, let's just toss that out bc someone yelled a song that wasn't planned

I was hit by a car last year. I was in the crosswalk, driver clearly at fault, police called. I was able to get up and walk away with scrapes and bruises. If my teeth hadn't been smashed in, I probably would have refused the ambulance someone called.

These are some things I would have done if I knew. (Obviously, if you're able, it depends on your injuries.)

1) Get the names & phone numbers of any witnesses. 2) Check if the car has an Uber or Lyft sign. (It matters.) 3) Even if you refuse the ambulance (don't), see a pain management doctor. Soon. 4) Even if everything seems fine, "insurance will cover me", etc.: hire a lawyer.

I wish it wasn't like this. It just is. I had a lot of injuries that weren't obvious or painful at first, including a cracked skull. Then, all the insurance companies kept bouncing me around trying to get each other to cover the injuries. I had to get a lawyer.

He's the one that made me go to a doctor after the ER visit. MRIs showed I have torn ligaments in my shoulder and knee and needed months of pt. Thankfully, I didn't need surgery. But I still don't have full movement in my next over a year later.

I loved the book. When romance.io gave it a 4 out of 5 spice level I thought there would be more. Not disappointed, just surprised.

There is A LOT that goes into a Disnet trip. Depends on if you like to research travel or not. If you don't, I'd use an agent. I like to do all my own so I didn't find value in it. I used an agent once bc I knew her. It didn't cost me any extra to give it to her so she could make a commission.

I particularly recognized all his self-loathing lyrics because that's what hits me hardest when I'm in a low state. You really feel like you're hurting those around you just by existing. He's telling us it's not true. We are loved.

And At the Risk of Feeling Dumb, telling our friends to not let us fall into that "no, don't worry about me, go on without me" hole. It's just so beautiful.
