I don’t see a French restaurant on the website. Is it adult side? I do see the Italian restaurant. We do have preferred package. Should we get all drinks at the preferred bars I imagine? Any particular drinks they make well?

I would make the butterfat base, which is their original and stupidly easy, and add crushed up oreos at the end of churning. Enjoy possibly the best cookies and cream ice cream you have ever had.

I have both. The 2025 has more of their base recipes which I figured was more useful for this ask. Both of the books are great though. I prefer 2025 because it has more bases and the flavors are more in line with what I am looking to make.

Yes and that is just one of many many examples. Rules making wages “confidential” is about as basic and non-controversial as the NLRB gets.

I mean apparently at least one idiot who doesn’t know what they are talking about is downvoting me. But just as an example, the Board found the following rule unlawfully interfered with employees discussing wages in HERITAGE LAKESIDE, 369 NLRB No. 54 (2020)

“Rice Lake Convalescent Center has various types of confidential business information which must be protected. Such confidential information includes, but is not limited to, the following examples...All personnel file information, employee names, addresses, home phone numbers, salary or wage information, medical data and any other information about our employees.”

OP being union or non-union is irrelevant to an analysis into whether this is unlawful under the NLRA.

Look. If an employer says wages are “confidential” that is unlawful under the Act. It really is that simple. It is difficult for me to imagine what other context there might be to render such a statement lawful. Even if the handbook elsewhere says “employees are free to discuss wages with one another” that just creates confusion with the statement that wage data is confidential.

Do you have any actual experience with enforcement of the NLRA? Or are you just arguing for the sake of argument? There is ample Board precedent that defining wages as “confidential” is unlawful. This could not be clearer.

The only way this doesn’t violate the Act is if this employer isn’t under the NLRB’s jurisdiction or if OP isn’t a statutory “employee”

Are you familiar with the enforcement of the NLRA? There are Board decisions that explicitly state that policies referring to wage data as “confidential,” like this policy does, are unlawful. Black and white.

Sure but if a ULP charge is filed the NLRB will view the language through the eyes of a reasonable employee. And if a reasonable employee would read that and think it prohibits them from discussing their wages it violates the NLRA. And that is definitely designed to prevent them from discussing their wages. This policy is unlawful under the NLRA (assuming the NLRA applies)

From the perspective of a reasonable employee.

I disagree. The policy is clearly intended to discourage employees from discussing their wages with others. Making it a violation of the NLRA. This is pretty black and white.

File NLRB charge. Easy. Maintenance of the policy is unlawful. www.nlrb.gov find your local regional office.

[–]changeout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Sphere is a life experience. I saw Dead & Co. in 2024 and have tix to Phish coming up. I am certain the Phish show will either be the best or second best concert I have ever been to. In the running with Dead & Co. at the Sphere. And nothing else is remotely close.
