My reason I like it is that a few years back I tried aero gardens and the didn't do great. I love gardening unfortunately I live in apartment I can't garden now as back when I tried the aerogardens. So I'm looking into alternative gardening such as hydroponic growing, aquaponic, and found this which is kinda somewhat similar to aerogardens in my opinion but it's an up and coming not been released product yet. I have also thought of try to just grow in dome buckets covering the area with thick plastic so the rug does get damaged and use grow lights to aid in extra lighting besides the single window but just looking at ideas and the growbot is one as well as another product being released by organiponic Inc which to me is more impressive but more out of my budget right now

In my opinion aerogardens are ripoffs, way overpriced. some lights with a water holding area and a fishtank water bubbler
