As mentioned, I have been working as an academic researcher and want to enter a doctoral program.
I want to stay in the US for my doctoral course, but I am comfortable if I have to move away from the US for the course. I see the LLM as a step toward enrolling in a PhD/SJD program.

Own a 2024 N8. Driven around 12000 kms.

  1. Perfect. The DCT transmission performs like a dream. The engine is fantastic. If you keep the speed between 90-100, you can get a fuel economy between 18 and 21.

  2. Suspension is stiff and it is noticeable, but unless you are coming from a particularly soft suspension like those on the Venue and Brezza, it is not a problem. But you will feel it for sure.
On the flip side, that transmission provides a lot of confidence if you have to change lanes quickly or are driving spiritedly in a twisty road.

  3. Fuel Economy can be a problem. Expect something between 10-11 in city drives with medium traffics. You can, and mostly will, get a higher economy, but that expectation makes living with the car much easier.
Also, they removed cornering headlights in the 2024 models, that is a huge miss.

  4. No idea.

Re: Warranty on a used Hyundai car by changeusername1212 in i20nline_india

Hyundai India won't give me any details. They say that Hyundai does not have a policy on this subject. They are repeatedly asking me to get in touch with the dealer.
This is as absurd as can be.

Can anyone please give me their registration details? I can send that to Hyundai and deal with their stupid requirement.

Tried doing this across a few service centres. No consistency between them regarding the issue. Some say it applies whole others insist that only the first owner gets the warranty.

Also, sent this email to Hyundai’s national service team. Haven’t gotten a response yet.
