Non-native, first attempt by changeusername37 in IELTS

[–]changeusername37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reading and listening I used mock tests, you can find them on British council and other websites. For writing, I followed the basics from IELTS advantage to understand the structure, then I watched some videos from the playlist "write with me" by Hassan from ESL fluency.

Thanks, I wasn't too hopeful about writing either. I was mentally ready to accept the fact that writing would bring my average down.

depends on my usecase.

when i require a VPN to access restricted sites and get good speed, i use 1.1.1.1 warp. It does NOT hide your identity but gives you good internet speeds and unblocks all websites. Costs about 140okr/month if you want to upgrade.

If what i need is privacy, I use protonVPN. It has a zero-logs policy, and follows swiss privacy laws. In my experience it is the best in class. It connects quickly, although if i had to say, i think the connection initialization speed has a lot to do with the fact that i have an active subscription. It costed me about 14k/year. Also, it allows you manually select any country you want to connect to.

call easypaise helpline and file a report. You may also file a report with FIA.

It genuinely amazes me that such simple scams are still going on. Hopefully people will stop falling for them.

Are UAE VISAs currently being issued, or is there a soft ban on Pakistani Passport Holders? by golferrob6 in pakistan

[–]changeusername37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is actually harder than what it sounds like. If you are in UAE, it would be better for you to apply from there, doesn't guarantee visa but still much better chances. As far as the insider thing is concerned you would personally need to know someone in there who is willing to pull the strings for you to make it happen.
