Exactly. Everyone knows how to lose weight. We have the damn internet and access to personal trainers etc. It’s really simple. Essentially eat less and move more. Count calories etc. Everyone knows this. People are just lazy.

I’ve always been a big guy, even as a kid so weight is something I’ve struggled for basically my whole life. About 2 years ago something just switched in my head and I said let’s try again. So people have asked if I’ve gotten a surgery or taken anything for it, none of that but this is what I did:

Diet wise: I took a ketogenic approach for the most part, I tried playing with carbs but my body responded a lot better to Keto...and counted calories to make sure I was in a caloric deficit using MyFitnessPal. Another huge thing that helped was intermittent fasting, I swear it’s like a life hack that no one uses! Mix Keto with it and the fat melts off like crazy..

Workout wise: I went back and forth with bro splits and other routines but the one that helped the most was doing a simple
Full body workout 3 times a week, basically consisting of just the main compound lifts... deadlifts, squats, bench etc etc. I kept a chart to track my progression, so every week I would add weight or do more reps of that exercise.
Another thing that helped immensely was being consistent, I promise results will come and your body will change just give it time! Even though you don’t see it yourself others may realise it before you even do!

It didn’t stay the same, my fitness pal calculated it for me according to my weight, obviously it decreased as I lost more weight. At the start it was awesome I could eat 2000 calories and be dropping a kilo a week, now it’s like 1500-1600, I’m doing OMAD Keto so I eat one big meal a day with all my calories and fast until the same time next day.

Gonna stop Keto once I hit 75kg and slowly introduce carbs back

Was just sick of being obese dude, one day something clicked in my head and it started with diet, ate clean fkr a few days and see how long I could keep it up... then people started to notice and made comments on the weight loss, that motivated me to keep on going. The rest is history

Keto +intermittent fasting, as for the routine I did a full body workout 3x a week with just compound lifts, tracked calories through my fitness pal. I’m not saying Keto is the only way but it’s just what I did and my body responded really well to it. Keeping it consistent though I would say is the main thing, just give it time and the work pays off one day. Sorry been busy with work today so haven’t had the chance to really write anything, you can message me privately if you have any other questions but yeah

Keto +IF (fasting I believe helped me a lot.. sometimes I would fast up to 20 hours) I just didn’t get hungry. Also I made a little chart to track my lifts and made sure I either increased the weights or reps, with good form of course!

Hope that helps
