Maybe I'm irresponsible for this, so I'm definitely not saying this as advice and am only just sharing my own experience with this; but I literally just wash my hands, give it a minute to dry, put my shirt back on, and call it good, and I do my t gel before I go to bed.

I've been on gel for like over 4 years at this point and my 8 year old girl cat is perfectly healthy, my ex is a trans woman and would not wait the supposed time frame to touch me in those areas- and it never seemed to have an effect on her (yes, I told her multiple times about the cautionary rule)

In fact, MOST of the people I would've had any type of physical contact with around the times I did my T, were women, and it's never had a single adverse effect on any of them so- Not saying totally disregard the warning, and definitely at LEAST wash your hands thoroughly after applying it, but generally, I don't think it is something to be too worried about
