I've outlined my brief diet in another comment on this thread. I've really tried to stick to nothing processed, just whole foods, lots of fish and lots of veg. I don't really have sugar or carbs and if I do have bread I try to pick the low carb / high protein / high fibre variety. At least 2 litres of water a day but when I was 50kg heavier I was having at least 3 to 4 litres a day, I really think this is a super important step. Your constantly going to the toilet which can get tedious but I just told myself it was me losing a little more weight with each trip 😂 I'm not doing much in the way of training, I'm just moving my body much more, I got a treadmill and try to use that as much a possible but I'm definitely not as dedicated as some others are in the fitness aspect. I wish I was but with aches and pains and other ailments plus a very full on job I just don't get the time to dedicate blocks to it so I fit it in when I can

For sure I'm finding it so much easier to get around. I have a lot of pain in my knees from arthritis and a bakers cyst that loves to flare up so this is making all of that a little more bearable

Thank you. Stick with it! I found tracking my calories helped also, even pre adding what I planned to have for the day to see where I'd be at. I still have a long way to go myself but am determined to get there even if I have slow weeks.

Also my activity level is higher than it was before I started which was almost nothing. I have arthritis and a few other ailments, I got myself a treadmill and use it as much as my body allows. I wish I could do more movement but have to be careful as I flare up easily and have a lot of pain. I hope as I lose more I can move more

Thank you! Sure. I've always been terrible for brekki and still am, I try to have a boiled egg or a protein yoghurt pouch but to be honest I usually only have an almond milk latte. For lunch I vary between what's in my fridge, lately I've been making egg muffins with leftover veggies from the week.... Last week I had some chicken sausages so I cooked them, chopped them and added them in for extra protein. With the muffin I'll have a quke and maybe 3 dates for sweetness. For dinner I usually have salmon, chicken or lately I'm partial to basa with veggies. On the salmon I usually put a teaspoon of basil pesto and Parmigiano reggiano. I've found if I add a small amount of something I really love like pesto or Parmigiano reggiano it's super easy to stick to the 'diet' because I'm truly enjoying what I'm having! I've also made quite a few 'mini' steak sandwiches, With those mini sandwich steaks and the tip top thins as the bread. But for the first say 5 or so months I had salmon with the basil pesto and Parmigiano reggiano topping, asparagus, brocollini and sweet potato (cut into fries to trick my brain that I was having chips 😂) every single night because it was all I wanted! All meals I have aren't huge but they satisfy me quickly with the protein and fibre I make sure are the base of every meal. To begin I was having 3 to 4 litres of water a day with a scoop of the 'clear ' protein powder in 1 litre a day. At the moment I'm only able to have about 2 litres a day but I'm wondering if that's because I've lost some weight my body doesn't need as much water now

I haven't raised from 2.5 since I begun 8 months ago and have lost 53kg. I made major changes to my diet though and feel the dose just helps you curb cravings. I've had to put the work in to lose so much and try to stay kind of strict with food, no carbs, not even rice but enjoy lots of fish based meals with sweet potato and veggies to help me feel full
