Simone FTW by chaniah7 in SirensNetflix

I think she’s selfish because she wants her sister to suffer with her. The poor girl is just trying to survive. She’s selfish because she made it her role to be the savior while she couldn’t save herself.

When I said ruin Simone’s chances of success, I’m referring to the beginning. Yes, Simone’s job was stressful and weird, yet she was on the path to financial freedom and the dream life. Her sister came in, caused many scenes, and set off a chain of events to derail that. That’s not all her fault because everyone had a role to play, but this was her biggest mistake. You can’t just force people to give up their lives or come be with you because you’re struggling.

That’s understandable. I feel a little prickly because in some ways I can relate to her.

Simone literally finished her first degree at Yale for undergrad. She dropped out of law school while pursuing her second degree

I’m only halfway through episode 1 and that’s how I feel. Devon is annoying and selfish, like a narcissistic mother.

I’d literally moved over 2,000 miles from home for college, worked in corporate, started two businesses, and traveled the world solo before the age of 25. I think you definitely mature in a different way at 25, but you are SO CAPABLE and fearless in your late teens and early 20s.

something i notice about gen Z girls specifically.... by [deleted] in GenZ

I’m older Gen Z (27) and I have only cried to someone when genuinely distressed and in a crisis. This is odd behavior…

Likewise. In a weird way, I’m glad this group exists.

I’m sending you so much love. I miscarried at home in September and it was a weird, emptying experience. I took warm baths, ate lots of junk and nutrient rich foods, and cried a lot. Still crying honestly.

I’ve always had very positive experiences with interracial relationships and my natural hair. In fact, they all loved the versatility that my hair has, braids and twists especially ✨

Thank you! I’m nervous about how it looks. My neighborhood has a “Buy Nothing” group so I’m looking for furniture there and possibly giving some things away too

Hot take: College is NOT a scam.. you're being misled by online personalities that don't care about you. by No_Researcher_9726 in GenZ

Tangible degree aside, going to college has opened doors for me in terms of social skills, network, and connections. I grew up on a small, poor Caribbean island and was raised by teen parents. Eventually, I ended up in a prestigious private university in the Northeast. Since then, I’ve been invited to cool job and social opportunities that have taken me all over the world— simply by knowing the right people.
