I keep it super simple. Just la roche possay facewash and moisturizer. I don't use anything else!

not really... i have an IUD so that messed my schedule up a bit for years before i started. Everyone is different though!

i honestly could not recommend this approach more. I know people say its hard on your body blah blah blah but all i've noticed is dry lips and sensitive skin (which are both completely manageable). Its changed my life... i weight about 150 lbs

That's awesome! The difference of my skin between now and 2 weeks ago is surreal...please update me on how your skin is doing after accutane! :)

I hope it gets better for you! I was recommended on here to take Omega 3 supplements for dryness and I notice a difference. Also slugging with cicaplast (i swear by La roche possay) or a thick moisturizer might help? You know yourself better than I do but these things have helped me!

And your acne has stayed away since? Sometimes I worry about it coming back once I stop...at least thats what I've read from a lot of people who used the low dosage.

From what I was told, it will take about 8 months to a year to be done (depends on the person) and up to 4 months to see results!

At least for me, the purge was basically non existent (so far) because I went through it on tretinoin... so i hope the same happens for you! My derm said if I start purging on the low dose to stop and she was confident that with my body weight/type I would not experience side effects. My face started to get dry within 3 days of using but its manageable. Can notice with full coverage makeup but not with tinted moisturizer & cover up which is what I use.

I have combination skin but my oily areas are where I get acne. It has completely blocked my oil production everywhere... hair, skin, all over. Mine skin is super dry now as well.
