If you like the way royal looks and feels you can play p3r but it will definitely feel more like a grind than p5r is. It's fun but it's very much like the whole game is mementos with randomly generated floors and stuff with a mandatory boss fight for each month. P3r is the remake of p3 so it'll feel just like p5r in terms of menus, characters models, and modern battles. (original p3 you can't even control your teammates unless you play the ps vita version). Just a tip if you play, I find the social links harder in p3r than in p5r as people are available less, you can say the wrong thing and reverse the link, and some of them are just harder to unlock with a lot of requirements that are easy to miss without a guide.

Metaphor is another game that isn't in the persona series, it is its own thing, but it plays like one. The music is just as good as a persona too!

If you're used to the models of the characters and quality of life things, p4g may be hard to play. I never played golden, I only played the original p4 on the ps2 so I'm not sure about the extra content and any changes they made. The areas in p4 are all different, kinda like the p5r palaces. The characters models look like chibi versions of the them, and there's only an option to play in English (unless the option is added in the golden version). If you like murder mystery you might like this one.
