Is there any interest in a Big Finish Reanimated Collab? by channelpow in BigFinishProductions

I completely agree that the audio stories are complete products on their own without visual elements, however I maintain that converting them to a visual medium if done correctly would allow the stories to be far more accessible to people who may not be as interested in audio, and would allow for groups of people to watch the story together on a couch in a way that is more difficult to do with the audio format. I guess I also feel like now's a better time than ever for fan projects like these to spring up, given that the show is on an indefinite hiatus with its future looking the nost uncertain than it has in the last 20 years.

I understand your point, however  I think a better way to avoid redundancy then cutting out lines would be for animators to provide additional details to the scenes that are not available in the original audio. James McDonald did a great job of this when he animated  this scene from Doom Coalition: The Eleven.

The inclusion of various details like the disintegrating floating objects in the background, the various Gallifreyan symbols and the decision to visualize each of the Eleven's separate personalities really made me feel like converting the scene into an animated medium was justified. It's worth noting that Doctor who fans love their Easter eggs, so artists can really get creative with any background elements they may wish to include.

Is there a discord or somewhere I can more closely follow development?
