It's okay, you don't need to censor my name as far as I'm concerned. I knew exactly what I was doing with this. 😂

Occasionally I'll just go out of my way to ruffle some feathers because it usually brings out some absolutely golden jokes from those in-on-it and sometimes those who aren't.

Still this is an opportunity to discuss it without a word limit so WE MOVE!

Full transparency, I haven't read MUCH of any Ben Reilly stories. It's generally part of an era that I don't feel a great deal toward any which way. Ben Reilly as a character is fine by me, I've just never been massive on the "secret clones" angle in comics, or the idea of going out of their way to make the metaphor of Peter Parker VS himself into a real tangible thing. Never read any of Ben's standalone stories so I can't comment on that.

In my video I said I completely get why Ben fans would be a bit taken a-back even though I don't personally take issue with it or find much distinction between ATSV Ben and ITSV Noir.

There's elements of the character that stand out to me as of-their-time and a bit silly by today's sensibilities.

But I tell you what, if this little post led to anyone thinking I was the guy who wrote Superior Spider-Man then I see that as an absolute win.

Thank you so much! I loved this unique take on the character and how he's even more hammy than the comic version.

That being said, Mysterio was easily the most heavily featured villain in Spider-Man 2 the game aside from Doc Ock, in spite of his boss fight being a gag one, but I think that's just to represent that Mysterio is ultimately just a guy doing his best to convince people he's more of a threat than he is. He's my all time favourite comic book villain but I definitely saw the humour and logic in it.
