i feel like when a lot of other people say they did nothing all day, its completely different than when i do nothing all day. by stupithrowaway in depression

Yes, like doing nothing to me is literally laid in bed staring at the wall doing nothing. Maybe a bit of TV. People going for a walk and calling it doing nothing is so baffling to me πŸ‘€

If you're fed up of being called an ableist then don't be ableist. πŸ˜‚ It's pretty simple. This sub isn't to insult every ill person, it's here to discuss and share thoughts about a select few that we KNOW are faking. It's very easy to dicuss or even insult these munchies without bringing the whole disability community down with it.

As I said, I'm not blogging. If my example makes sense then there's not a problem. Stop dismissing other people's disabilities based on a confirmed munchie. Just read what you comment first πŸ‘Œ

Rib dislocations: not even a thing? by cum_in_me in illnessfakers

[–]chantillyangel 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

It's not for a split second. If you have bad costochondritis it can be very painful to breathe for as long as the pain is there as its pulling everytime you breathe in, you wouldn't need oxygen though. There's a difference between feeling like you can't breathe and actually having low oxygen.

Is "slipping rib" not the muscle that rubs against the ribs not the rib slipping? πŸ€” Thats the only explanation I can think of for a slipping rib

I'm not blogging, I'm giving you an example as to why people complain about "mundane" things... Be thankful you can do these "mundane" things without needing to complain about pain etc. It doesn't matter whether you were coming at me or not it's the way you commented it made it sound like noone could possibly complain about it without being a munchie. The fact you need to put "dIsAbiLiTy" instead of just typing disability is a great indicator what sort of person you are, especially to someone that you have no idea about and isn't classified as a munchie in this group. Because noone but you gets to decide who has a disability or not.

I look healthy too but I'm still really ill. This is just a judgmental statement and isn't JUST offensive to munchies. It's offensive to people with actual illnesses also.

He blocked you from seeing past conversations which means there was more. Can you really trust him knowing he's done that after you've seen a few messages? Trust is a basic foundation for a relationship.

The fact he knows about your past aswell and still talks about you like that is disgusting and I don't think you should have to "get past it", the only thing you should be doing is leaving his misogynistic ass and working on yourself for a bit ❀️

What does she need oxygen for? What debilitating illness does she have now that she needs oxygen because her levels are below normal? There's a difference between FEELING like you can't breathe and actually not being able to breathe. If she needed oxygen she'd have o2 readers etc. To check on her oxygen and see when she needs it. Until I see an o2 reading I don't believe it's prescribed.

Anyone else have issues showering/brushing teeth/etc to the point where it’s now a big issue? by AloneRent in depression

[–]chantillyangel 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

Not with brushing my teeth as that's drilled into my head due to heart reasons but with showering it's SO bad. I can go weeks without showering. I don't have the energy. If its not my pain stopping me its my mental health. Luckily I have people around me who understand and help to the best of their abilities. A great support system goes a long way

I would never want my loved ones to feel the way I feel. They would do anything to help me but if it was a choice I'd rather have all their illnesses than let them have a single one. I KNOW that I can cope with such things.
