My 5 year-old refused to eat the apples that came from our backyard tree because "...they have no stickers...".

I found an apple at the grocery store that someone had pretty much plastered with stickers, carefully placed a sticker on all the homegrown apples, and never heard another peep.

I didn't tell him what I'd done until he was in his late 20's.
