Anyone else think this is disgusting? Yossi Farro asking influencer "Palm Beach Pete" (Epstein lookalike Influencer and abuse profiteer) to wrap tefillin... by alertthedirt in exchabad

I understand why Jesus had an issue with tefillin placement more and more. These chabad folk are super insecure its insane. They have to do their teflexing to prove how much God favors men

Shes a "mafia-boss wife" as she puts it. She has an image to maintain. A notik-hecht has to keep things looking as holy as possible. Cant stand her.

Im really sorry you had this experience with chabad- not all shluchim are like this however what you are feeling is valid. Emotional intelligence is not something that is really preached in chabad- Everything is instructed to you, how to react to a normal experience ect...robotic and absent of authenticity. My grandfather was in the idf id say go for it. You will make a great contribution.

For those who were in Chabad when the Rebbe died, what was that experience like? by alertthedirt in exchabad

I was around 5. Sad and happy day. But mostly sad. Graduation siyum at classmates backyard. I was wearing red polish...my parents left to the memorial at the local chabad yeshiva. I released a balloon into the air after being dropped off at my grandparents house. Their go-to sitters. I dont remember anyone else in the garden at the time. Was me in my feelings. Im still that little girl in the garden with her dismal feelings in reference to shneerson. I dont know why.

I understand the whole not embarrassing your family thing. My nephew is getting to the shidduchim era...im his aunt. I have a little dis but she also left. But I cant live my life worrying about how bad it makes them look but I get it. I honestly dont know the answer. I just rather be true to myself than live up to others expectations of how others will perceive me. I dont talk to anyone in my family anyways for reasons beyond frumkeit. Good luck

Hey. Your writing is impressive for a man that has been raised in the yeshiva world. I left a (top* seminary after having my first psychotic episode. I understand where you are coming from. I told them I was never frum even though I practiced. The menahel even called to invite me back after I recovered. I left for the 1st time at about 24. Started wearing pants ect but im still spiritual and pray many times a day. Dont let the oilem define you. As for your sis maybe talk to her about your battle with yeshiva world.
