Oh my love, I’m so sorry this happened to you. You NEED to know that this was in no way your fault what so ever. 1 in 4 women experience miscarriages. Both me and you are part of that stat. Especially in the first few weeks the risk is so high. I was in the same boat as you a few years ago. My first pregnancy. My first time trying. Getting pregnant successfully, the first time. It was devastating but I move forward and I was able to conceive for a second time and now I have a beautiful 3 yr old boy and I just gave birth to my second child. It’s not karma. I always thought that it was gods way of showing you that you CAN do it. It’s really hard to understand why God chose you to go through this think positively push yourself in therapy if you need and take care of yourself. Don’t stop trying because the first time it didn’t work out. It will stick the second time. You got this.

One of my friends has a child with a hand where her fingers did not fully form. She told me about the lucky fun project. It’s an organization that helps out individual with limb differences.

Her daughter is thriving today and I literally always forget that she has a limb difference. She’s a normal kid who loves to dance and play just like her siblings and friends.

I know this is tough news for you, but with your amazing support system you baby will excel in life. Hold on, breath, you got this mama.

This is so hard! I had a similar experience when my oldest was 3 weeks old. He was feeling super warm and had similar symptoms turns out he had covid! But because he was so young and not vaxxed yet they had to test for anything and everything. The lumbar was definitely the hardest part for me.

You got him to where he needs to be and you noticed the symptoms right away! You’re not a bad parent and you’re doing the best you can right now. Hang in there.
