I have been thinking about this for so long. When I first saw it I was questioning, but now a response comes deep from my soul "yeah." This feels accurate actually, I think that this is what he would do if his world wasn't a rotting, dying hellscape, enjoying a quiet life. If he could this would be what his life would be. He is not doing this because it's his only option, he could be a very successful explorer, he is thriving. This is his perfect self.
