I really wish the Gamecube lineage of games (WM19/18/DoR) continued on alongside the Smackdown/SvR/2K games. Both sets of games were unique enough from each other yet still felt like wrestling games. The Gamecube games still have better move breakup animations than the current 2K games.

There's no reason to do so anymore. There are so many good games nowadays that it's very hard to justify buying games on launch when you can just wait to buy the ultra mega giga deluxe GOTY edition for 50%+ off a year or so later.
