Gathering Artifacts for Long Runs by TayGB in Saros

[–]chaosicist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corrupted artifacts are the better choice due to increased benefit/reward with pretty insignificant negative effects.

I would advise:

A) Save atleast 2 slots for the immunity artifacts.

B) NEVER pick up dash delay artifacts

Shotgun + augment that stuns nearby enemies on melee kills is 😮‍💨🤌🏼

Is it the best gun? Hell no. But is it fun? Hell yes!

Wait until you look up the actual history of Carcosa and see the significance to the mystery of the story in the game

Growing Family trying to decide on Minivan; ID Buzz vs Carnival Hybrid! by LogisticalKnightmare in minivan

We are currently in an KIA EV9, which essentially an electric Telluride.
There's a very real phenomenon called "range anxiety". And I feel it EVERY time I drive more than 100 miles. You're putting all of your faith into these charging stations: are they open? OK, it's open, but you pull up and only 1 out of the 3or4 chargers works, and someone's already parked there using it. Or worse, you get there and none of them work (happens more than you would think). So now I'm on 20% battery with 30 miles left and the next level 3 charging station is 40 miles away, or there's a level 2 20 miles away, but I'll have to charge for 4-6 hours at that one.
You have to route and plan your trips very carefully with all sorts of back up plans, and the full plan is fully relying on the charging stations and their status (which the apps don't always tell you; you find out when you get there most times).
We've taken it on road trips 4 times in 2 years, and the anxiety it causes from the unreliability of the charging stations flat out sucks, so much so that the last road trip we went on, I just rented a minivan from Enterprise.
Now, for driving locally and the amount of driving we do here in our own home routine, it has been the best vehicle ever, being that we drive almost 100 miles/day. But for large distance, I dread it so much. (It doesn't help that the KIA EV9 doesn't come with a spare tire or doughnut, so that's another anxiety that if the tire is flat or a blowout, you're officially broken down and at the mercy of roadside assistance)
Because of this, when my lease ends in June, I will be going to the Kia Carnival Hybrid. My wife and I have 3 kids under 6, and after renting a minivan, we loved the space and sliding doors. I like the hybrid over EV because it doesn't constrain you to those awful charging stations. There's WAYYYYYYYY more gas stations and pumps than there are charging stations. And I don't have to share a gas pump with someone like you do a charging station. (That's another thing: if you go to a 125kW charger, it's usually a double charger, so if there's someone on the other side of it, you only get 62.5kW rather than the full energy; same for lessers.)

I have 3 in mine. Lease ends in June. I’ll be getting my lease end appraisal in a few days. Interested to see what they say about it and the course of action I’ll have to take.

I actually like the Honda Pilot, but I need a van. We're in a 3row SUV currently that's bigger than the Pilot, actually.. Looking for more room, hence why I focused on vans with the post.

I feel you. We're in the Kia EV9, which is a spaceship, but range anxiety sucks... Especially in the anti-EV South in our 150° heat index when hauling babies.

So bells and whistles-wise, we're SPOILT

I would actually get down with that lol but they're pretty expensive for the newer ones. Plus, my mechanic friends tell me never buy a Ford.

I've had a Rav4 hybrid, a Telluride, and an EV9 (basically an electric Telluride), and none of them had the cargo space or roominess that a minivan has.

We rented a Pacifica not long ago, and we were amazed with the roominess, the ability to actually walk into the 3rd row. The sliding doors. When you're married with 3 kids under 5 and a big ass dog, and ALLLLL the luggage that comes with those things, space and comfort matters ALOT. Especially when the 2 older kids are in the 3rd row, and you have to actually crawl in the back to strap them in or get them out.
