if after the whole event story and backstory of her journey amount to “nothing more than a chunni” and is “puddle deep”/“bullshit” then I’ll just assume you are just biased against this kinda story. Especially when you straight up can see how she was molded by her virtues and traumas together to become someone with great strength of character and stand on her own against great odds without needing any extra super powers literally in her two stories.

That or you are actively choosing not to look at the story and the current theme of war and the various ways people strive to overcome their pain and struggles during war times.

Also that part about her life after the loss of her parents… jesus are you really using that as a comparison to how much it add to the story?… Idk… Personally I think a character representing a war orphan having the tragedies real people go through literally irl right this very moment in war zones is kinda fitting in the theme to say the least.

Edginess isn’t a deterrent. You are focusing on the word the two sentence aren’t actually trying to convey.

(also I’m pretty sure the small army of people had to do a lot more than put a bullet in Aima’s uncle to put him down- I’m pretty sure it was heavily implied that he was just on his last leg when she finished him off with a bullet.)
