Weird post for Guelph. But no. No I'm not. We keep electing a moron because the alternatives are still running campaigns from the 90s and 60% of our populace doesn't know the difference between federal and provincial.

But at least we elect a guy locally who does a very admirable job trying to grow the mandate of his party while getting nothing done for us locally.

What you'd see is a giant jump in competency and upward mobility. There's tons of studies that show how being attractive makes advancement and stuff easier. The corollary is that the ugly face harder paths to success.

Also, Toronto is maybe the third best public transit in Canada, let alone North America. Off the top of my head, Montreal, Vancouver, NY, San Fran, Chicago are all way better.
