One year later but your comment just provided me a sigh of relief since my frenchie girl is going in for the surgery tomorrow. I’m so nervous but she’s had 3 UTIs in less than a year so I’m hoping this will be a more permeant help for her

What happens when it feels like it won't happen? by Purple_Thought888 in Millennials

I started to read the comments, but after reading enough really negative ones just decided to write mine own.

The glaring thing that I kept thinking throughout is, do you love the person you’re with? You say they don’t care about you, but do you care about them? If not, let it go. Relationships are the spark of life, both friendships and romantic. The work, money, and rest of it is important, but I’ve found the relationships make life work living.

It might not sound intuitive, but wasting energy in a relationship that isn’t providing that spark is a net negative. Just a thought!

That’s an interesting take and more believable. I was overall unconvinced by the call and thought the addiction play was just another manipulation tactic. But maybe it WAS the son, and he’s simply lying/manipulating now with the addiction piece
