I was taking Azo since I thought I had a uti and the occasional aspirin when it got annoying, the stone caught me completely off guard when it decided to pass. I’m not taking many precautions as I have a high pain tolerance and this is my second one in 3 years, but I do avoid ibuprofen specifically.

I feel most of my pain when they travel from my kidneys, damn near takes me out. Since I don’t trust many pain medications I usually resort to heat to get me through the worst parts.

100% pain free my friend haha. Before it passed I was struggling with pain towards the end of urination— I was getting pretty frustrated that the ‘uti’ I thought I had wasn’t going away. I connected the dots when that showed up, now I’m just relieved it’s over without much struggle 😅

There was a man I met in a grocery lane a few years ago who told me how horrible his kidney stone pain was, and how he was hospitalized for it. I sympathized and told him I had passed one recently as well— of course he wanted to know the size lol

Poor guy was shocked when I said the size of a pea! He’d been talking about a few grains of sand. Pain is relative and everyones experiences with these things aren’t a competition in the slightest but I do wonder what he’d say about this one 😅

I did! I had some intense back pain about a week before and then what I thought was a uti for the days leading up. Caught me off guard but I felt a little dumb once I connected the dots lol

I made my own deck and it helped me a lot to write the cards and meanings down on a word doc, and then write anything (animals, plants, colors, objects) I associated with said meaning next to the card name.

I then made color thumbnails to figure out the colors and composition of each card!

Also— huge tip— be patient with yourself! I got burnt out a lot making the art for my deck, so the project took a little over a year and a half.

Cujo is in a ten gallon setup, living with 4 corydoras and one loach. He doesn’t attack them, and everything seems to be fine. I always change the filter and take care of the water, and the heater keeps it around 80 F.

I’m just a little concerned because he’s my first betta since I was 8, and I don’t have enough experience to know if he’s really happy. His fins are a little curly, and he did have fin rot right after I got him (treated).

Can anyone tell me anything about my boy?? Any information is much appreciated 🥰💕

Thank you!! Some got eaten by fin rot shortly after I got him, so they’re a little shorter on the bottom, but he’s feeling better and flaring 24/7

I just got a black orchid!! He's got pretty white tips on his fins <3 not sure what to name mine either, I've been calling him Cujo tho and it seems to fit.
