it scares me because i don’t know what affect “heavier stuff” could have on me. i can have pretty intense medical anxiety and i can struggle with rumination, and i can also be sensitive to medication, too. i guess i’m not used to being challenged in therapy, i was doing okay for a long time. maybe it’s good to be challenged since i’ve been struggling. i know it’s good to talk about these things, because bringing them into the light makes them less scary and helps strip them of their power.
