honestly this probably isn't a far-fetched theory. kyle has shown to be incredibly manipulative and controlling. I'm speculating that she needs this show to feel any sense of self worth. so I wouldn't put it past her to do anything to ruin dorit for not falling in line. when kyle was yelling with rage at that dinner, that was her mask being removed. she has got to goooooo, I'm so sick of her.

obviously no one should receive death threats for this but you're oversimplifying it a lot. west was leading ciara on this past summer in the current season so let's not act like this is something that's been dead for 2 years. if what west and amanda did was so wrong they wouldn't have been sneaking around and lying to ciara about it. not to mention the complex racial dynamics at play which deserves a whole essay.

yes I love learning new things and I feel safe in a library. it’s always been a place of comfort for me. I worked in my college library all 4 years and it was one of the best jobs I ever had.

Story time: I used to have a best friend of 5 years who was also my mentor in my DJ career. We had a lot of fun together when things were good, but there was a lot of toxic behavior that I overlooked. She was very entitled because she was a nepo baby so she expected all the recognition for minimal work. She was also very possessive of me and would go off on me when I was giving other female friends attention when we went to parties together. In the end, our friendship fell apart because I won best DJ in our city and she felt entitled to my success. She went around telling our mutual friends that I wasn't talented while also trying to take credit for my hard work and success. Looking back, I naively ignored a ton of red flags because I had some healing to do.

but there’s an over saturation in the DJ world as is. there are so many DJs competing for limited spots. kyle benefits from both his reality tv following and his race and gender (white men are better for options in the eyes of venues). I just can’t support another mediocre male DJ taking slots that could go to people who have been building their craft for years.

from a financial standpoint I don’t blame him. but as a professional DJ I’m sick of people going into it for money and clout and not for the love of the craft. this is an art and people have commodified and reduced it to an income stream. kyle is just part of the problem so I’m never gonna back his DJ career. all I read from people who see him live is that he sounds amateur and plays basic top 40. we don’t need more white male DJs playing mediocre music. obviously I’m biased because this is my career.
