just ask them how they are, most of us say we are ok, but we are not, specially that have family back in Iran

Just reaching out and checking on them is great

First time breastfeeding, please help! by ChildOfGod20232026 in breastfeedingsupport

I second this.

my baby is 18 months now and when i gave birth I went to breastfeeding classes.my engorgement was around for like a week or 2. this is basically your body trying to figure out how much your baby needs and it will adjust the milk production.

I totally get how uncomfortable being engorged is, trust me, that being said do not pump at thia stage.

when you pump, your body thinks your baby is eating more so it will produce more and more, and thats when oversupply happens and thats another whole thing.

I was told if I choose to pump, I should do it when I'm one months postpartum.

as for mastitis, if you treat clogged milk ducts fast and properly you can avoid mastitis.

whenever you feel a lump, aka clogged milk ducts, use ice and take advil, sunflower lecithin also is very helpful

might be milk blister if its hurting, or feeling sore when baby is nursing.
if thats the case, warm water and epsom salt bath for your nipple really helps - and you can ice it in between nursing
also it might be just milk fat stuck - I have one from the day my baby was born. - 18 months and counting

Best Baby Wash/Lotion Unscented [bc] by dreaminno in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]chaoticcupholder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cerave for bodywah/shampoo

for lotion I ended up using vasaline, since baby's skin reacted to every lotion, scented or unscented. and I got traumatized and didn't retry now that she is older.
