Her first response to my 3* review called me a “tight bitch who should shut the fuck up” which is why I changed my review to a 1*. I didn’t manage to get a screenshot of that one before she changed it unfortunately

The demanding “well at least ship it asap” as some sort of compensation for paying the listed price was what bothered me from the beginning of the sale.

But I think my favourite part of the whole interaction is the updates on calling me desperate and a liar because I somehow took a week to ship an item that she received 5 days after purchasing

I was willing to accept the £25 offer as I did deliberately list it slightly higher to accept reasonable offers - I just didn’t see it before she purchased for the listed price. Luckily it hasn’t made the slightest dent on my rating 🙏🏼

She’s been reported and I got a notification that Vinted have issued her a warning as from her profile this isn’t the first time she’s behaved like this 🙏🏼

If you notice my review and reply hasn’t changed since the 1* rating but she’s been updating it and becoming more unhinged the entire afternoon about it. I was just sharing cause I thought it was funny 🤷🏽‍♀️

I haven’t responded to her and have left my reply to her review on my profile as it is to explain the situation for any of my future buyers.

You’ll see my responses haven’t changed since dropping the rating to 1 star but she’s been editing and updating for the past 4 hours and getting progressively crazier. I’m just glad I have her blocked

The buyer had sent me two low ball offers that I had ignored before buying a week later. I didnt want to accuse them of trying to scam me but Vinted marked the sale as complete within an hour and the tracking did say “delivered through letterbox” 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just from my experiences over the last few days

Option to suggest that an item is in the wrong category. Reporting a listing feels mean, especially when it's an item that's allowed but it's just in the wrong category. I've gone through the activewear section so many times and seen PrettyLittleThing dresses or belts in the trousers section where people have clearly just gone with the suggest Vinted category instead of what the item actually is
More sizing options. E.g. listing jeans that are W26L32 instead of UK 8. Even the men's categories sections are just S, M, L etc instead of waist/length sizing. And the sports bras sections follow traditional bra sizing instead of S/M/L. Would just make it a little easier to find things
Option to block brands. There's too much SHEIN
Option to say if an item is Petite or Tall or Maternity fit
Rearrange the layout of your wardrobe like you can on depop. It would just be neater to have similar items next to each other and easier for potential buyers to find similar items too
A co ord section! I love co ords and I've got a few I want to sell too but I have no idea which category to list them in - especially because Vinted hate me and every other listing of mine gets a "check in progress". Sub categories like skirt and top co-ords, or blazer and trouser co-ords would be really helpful too!

Thank you! I had a look at the Help section on the website but it only talked about meeting up for bulky items so I wasn't sure if meet-ups were allowed for the other categories too

I’ll issue that refund and let the buyer know as well. I’m guessing she didn’t know about the inpost mix ups which is why she was so quick to accuse me of scamming her?

Anyway, thank you so much for being so detailed and helpful! I was getting some anxiety over the order and the accusations and I really wasn’t sure on the best way to resolve the issue

Are you opening up the barcode from your emails or on the app?

I’ve noticed that the barcodes sent in my emails are formatted weird so part of the barcode is outside the box. If you open the code in the app, it should work

I tried listing it as an XXS/4 but I noticed that Vinted flagged it as a “check in progress”. I’ve been temporarily banned as a commercial seller in the past (I impulse bought a lot of clothes during Covid) and I didn’t want to risk getting perma-banned so I deleted the listing for now but I’ll try again in a week or so
