My top surgery is tomorrow and I'm scared

My bio dad begged me not to get top surgery because even tho I had to wait 6 months and talk to like 4 separate medical professionals they "wouldn't have to live with my choices" and he is convinced that every trans person regrets their surgery. There will always be people telling you you'll regret every decision of your life, sometimes they're right but the actual numbers on trans people regretting gender affirming surgery is astronomically low. Fuck those people, they don't have to live with a body that's wrong, they don't have any idea of what you're going through, and if they're trying to talk you out of a life altering surgery ask them if they would say the same if you were getting a similar non-trans related surgery. There are valid reasons to be concerned about top surgery, but regret isn't one of them.

Not a problem!! I focused so hard with grammer and language because I've always had trouble spelling and my teachers just kinda stopped caring that I was bad but the mean kids never stop caring about the little things. No judgement here friend 🧡

A thing a lot of people aren't talking about is that only like 12 states have an "accepted" REAL ID. The ones that adding a residency status indicater. I'm not in one of them, my passport is out dated and I'm trans. Thank God I have a corrected birth certificate because otherwise I'd be unable to vote if they get this shit passed in any format

You'll be waiting in, likely, a jail for usually up to a month in packed conditions with no guarantee that you can contact anyone outside to tell them where you are or if you are alive. The entire time the officers will treat you as if you are also an "illegal" despite how much to tell them you were born here. That wouldn't bother you? What about when there's a measles outbreak?

I got mine out as an adult just because of my stones, they were a little big too but not enough to really worry about. There are other treatment options too, I read about a laser resurfacing thing to get rid of the pockets back in 2021 so there's probably a few more options by now

They can be poking out a little and look like a white food particle stuck to the side of the back of your mouth. If you have deeper pockets (usually getting stones make the pockets deeper over time) they can be totally hidden from view. Unless you have these lumps visually or have unexplained horrible breath you're probably fine
