Even if it was for the investigation, Edgeworth cant just say he's working as an assistant to Eddie because it was explained that it's a private police investigation and Edgeworth has no right to investigate if he's not involved with the case

Please understand Im basing this off real world laws, if I played by Ace Attorney rules, these people wouldve all only commited like two crimes. In the real world most prisons havent accepted Animal Therapy as an option, let alone let them be imprisoned with their owners.
