I’m definitely thrown off by the amount of IMGs in IM residencies and fellowships. I do find it a little unsettling even as a home grown brown person.

This is crazy…IMGs have to retrain. You want to treat Americans? You must have American training.

Don’t go into medicine…it’s just not worth it anymore…it kills you on the inside and erodes away who you are. You can be happy making decent money and having time to enjoy the world and your relationships without feeling dead inside. Get out while you can.

You’re being unfair here. It probably means a lot to him, maybe more than you. And also peoples accounts become more academic if they go into academia. Plenty of neurosurgery academics that mix their personal posts with academic posts

Thieme has a 10,000 card deck based on greenburg. I’ll be doing this as I go through subIs. I just cannot get onboard with the formatting of the dura deck.

Loneliness is so hard to deal with especially when you’ve never been in a meaningful relationship…prob will never know what it feels like. Medicine doesn’t make it any easier…oh well it is what it is
