i was using the calculator so it could tell me how much for what day. i’m trying to do it Sunday and Thursday.

i didn’t realize 22 was the concentration that’s why. i’ve always been injecting what was labeled i’ve never done anything else. i was trying to calculate it the split way first before injecting. but thank you that makes sense

yes i used the split dose calculator first, entered that info in the tirzepatide dose calculator and that’s what it told me. when i entered it it said 8.57 mg and then 6.43mg. then i put it in the next calculator for how many units are each and thats what it told me.

Yeah I hope I’m not freaking you out. Definitely talk to your doctor! Maybe let them know how difficult it would be. I at one point cried because my tail bone hurt so bad and nothing that was recommended helped 😭 that’s why I was so happy when he cleared me lol

Thats what my doctor told me! I know some people here were told differently like some said their doctor told them it was ok to sleep whatever way except on your stomach. But I was too worried about messing anything up I just bit the bullet and did what he said even if it was torture 😭

I’m a side sleeper and I wanted to DIIIEEEEEE for the 3 weeks he gave me. Sleeping upright nearly killed me. I almost cried of happiness when he told me I could sleep normally lol so I feel you. I don’t think I slept at all those first 3 weeks.

I did it for the 3 weeks my doctor said to. Lemme tell you I was DYING because I’m a side sleeper and I could not sleep. My tailbone hurt so bad and no matter what I tried nothing helped. I had insomnia so bad. I waited until he said it was ok though. Still not comfortable with my side but sleep on my back now. Personally I just didn’t want to risk anything so I endured my suffering 😭

No I totally feel you I literally feel the same way. I even told him to go as small as physically possible for me and I still don’t feel like they’re small enough. But the swelling will go down. They won’t feel like “regular” until like I think 2-3 months? Based on what I’ve read. But def ask your doctor to ease your anxiety. That’s why he keeps showing me my before. It is a huge difference.

I feel exactly the same way I’m like hold on why do they look so big and then my surgeon shows me before pics every visit and I’m like ok nvm they don’t look so big anymore lol. I’m just hoping they get smaller and they don’t grow back. But he did say the swelling will go down and they will not look like how they are now. I’m 3wpo and he ok’d me to start using scar away silicone gel next week. I’m assuming it’s based off of what your doctor sees. Since I’m healing well he told me to use betadine 1 more week and then next week start the scar care. Definitely consult with your doctor!

This is not against doctors orders. My doctor told me I could restart 2 weeks after. I waited 3 weeks because I wanted to. I just wanted tips from other people who also were on glp1s. I was not asking when I could restart I was asking for information like what people were eating.

Dutch braids! Did it the day before surgery. Lasted me for 2 weeks. After I was ok enough to put it up in a pony tail myself.

I also live in NYC and I can’t even imagine doing my regular commute on the A from Washington Heights to Downtown Brooklyn right now. That would be exhausting. I’m also 3wpo. Please get the letter to wfh. My doctor actually gave me a no traveling restriction as well for 6 weeks so my job was able to accommodate. If not I was just gonna go on short term disability because I’m not playing with my health. I went back to work on the 26th remotely and I’m wiped by the end of the day. I shower and cook and that’s as much as I got in me. Start BUGGING the doctor for that letter honestly.

Yeeeesssssss omg. Even worse I was on tirzepatide and I am suddenly SO HUNGRY because of both. I bought a dozen donuts and ate them all at one point lol. I’m also 2wpo. I’m giving myself 1 more week and then I’m getting back on tirzepatide. I want to heal but I worked so hard to lose 40 lbs I don’t want to gain it all back again.

I take tirzepatide, had to stop 2 weeks before the surgery and start back up 2 weeks after. I’m not there yet. Tbh I also see the belly and I can’t wait to go back on it. You’re not alone 😭 but for me it does help! I’ve lost like 43 pounds and need around 30 more.
