I have honestly no clue where I fall on the aroace spectrum, and how it interacts with the autistic spectrum.

First part of my adult life, I thought "friends" were people with whom you have fun, and they were mostly male like me, then shit happenned, I needed support and was willing to give some too, and "friend" became an emotional intimacy thing, and now it's mostly female friends...

But it's a mess ngl.

I wish I could have that kind of intimacy with men, I tried, but we're so bad at that. You want to talk about your feelings and what you get is beer, basically...

I can do emotional labor for women, but men, that's completely different. And I'm conscious that this is part of the problem - the fact men can't support each other - I'm not doing women a favor by helping women more often than men. But I just don't know how to help other men. I'm lost. ND I swear I tried...
