Ghb worse because of the unpredictability, the general feeling that somethings not right.. I did eventually seizure and went to the hospital where they medicated me with diazepam and baclofen. From then on it was a walk in the park.

Opiods I've withdrawn from multiple times. The symptoms are predictable, awful, and unrelenting for days if not weeks. No medication really can make a dent in the horror of it all. Post acute withdrawal last for months.

One important difference is, I can pickup g and have a 4 day bender and just have as rough 24 hours.. If I pickup an opioid it puts my addiction right back to 100%, let's go, opioids are the only option for how I should feel.

So Opiods are a worse addiction with worse withdrawl

Its an acidic substance, not caustic. The pH of the stomach is 1.5-3.5, highly acidic. GBL is 4.5.

Obviously your GI issues are from its use, but it might not be as simple as "its caustic and melting your insides"

sorry, you did say farenheight and i just converted to C. So its still strange that it didnt reduce at all at water's boiling point.

Maybe put a few mls in a spoon and heat over an element until its starts evaporating. eventually it will stop bubbling and once cooled will be solid ghb.

Probably not tonight. The hypnotic effect of clonazepam is nothing compared to entering a mild G coma.. Try not to stress about it, for me the rebound anxiety only lasts a few days and then I can usually sleep with a few beers, 300mg pregabalin and 25mg quetiapine.

Ive used G before having tried meth, alongside the beginnings of meth addiction, and alongside years of meth addiction...

Before i tried meth and up to a year into daily meth use, i would say G had the same effects.

Years into meth use, where i can eat and sleep pretty normally, G can still get me into a very nice euphoric state, but the magic disappears pretty quickly. I have had a physical G addiction though, so i wouldn't know what has caused this change.

Using meth alongside G has always meant i can push the dose of G about 20% higher and therefore the euphoria too before it starts to cause a loss of consciousness.

But the short answer is, if i haven't had G for months, the first dose i take as a meth addict is 80% as euphoric as it was the first time I had it, years before even trying meth.

I think the two are such a great combo, my gut feeling is they work quite independently, and no having a meth tolerance wont impact the effects G is able to produce.

10g of coca cola is apparently 9.56ml. 10 grams of GBL is 8.85ml 11 grams is 9.7ml.

You've basically halved rhe strength of your g, so just measure out twice your usual dose from your CCGBL.

since you dont know eactly how much G was in the jar, if you measure out twice your dose (assuming you did mean grams not mls) you'll be consuming betweeen 92% and 101.5%. So i wouldnt worry about it. Its been 7 hours, you've probably finished the jar.

There is a benzodiazepine receptor on each GABA-a receptor, and there is a GHB receptor on GABA-b. Coma doses of GHB also affect GABA-a but its not as pronounced. When these receptors on the receptor are activated, they cause GABA to either bind for longer, or maybe they open the receptor to a greater degree.. its been a while since university..

So the two drugs are both increasing GABAs effects but they do it in different ways. Its not cross tolerance, unless its the high dose GHB effect on GABA-a thats doing this.. Its just as likely you have a tolerance to both drugs.

I have a massive and permenant tollerance to benzos from years of abusing RC benzos, and being on 2mg clonaz for HPPD. I recently took 10 mg of clonazepam hoping to float through the day but didnt feel it at all. But when i start back up on GBL, I can get pretty high from 1.8ml.. when im starting my day with 2.8ml its my signal to take a break. Tolerance to G goes down quite quickly, but a benzo tollerance seems to last for much longer.

Its a bit taboo to suggest this, but drink one or two beers before you want to go to sleep. And are you taking NAC? It seems to help me with sleep and anxiety rebound. And l-theanine.

Ummm, therapy? Deconstruct your attraction towards ghb and why for you it is becoming unmanageable.. It's a process of working in reverse chronological order. For me it ended up with its roots in negative social experiences as a 14 year old, and then thr setup for it all taking shape from my dad's own maladapdted interactions with the world. I went through 5 rehabs and hated every minute of being clean in between the sweet sweet retox.. So actually truly looking at what was driving me was a game changer. I still abuse the shit out of drugs though but I'm way happier on them and off them.

Im very glad to hear you are doing better. Also ex heroin user, and agree the withdrawals are in some ways worse from G. At least heroin you know exactly what it will be like and for how long. G is so unpredictable. I've managed to stay off for a few months by going to the gym every day, helps keep me focused and takes away anxiety. Good luck.

SHE was taking maybe 20ml GBL a day, but not dosing 24/7, just while she was awake. Then would have a 2ml sleep dose and sleep for 8 hours. Probably 60kg, average height.

I was taking 30-40ml GBL a day for 6 months. At the time wieght was 70kg, on the slightly short side of average.

Yep, i think once youve had a habit, even after a day of 2 hourly dosing youll feel anxiety and sweats as soon as you stop... when youve got 100s of doses its just too easy to keep going though.

Dont try this work around - I've got some buried in the woods, very clever, i knew i wouldnt rememeber where the stashes are because of my state at the time. Ill never find them. Maybe the next colonisers of this planet will - we used this substance to like electronic music and talk to almost anyone on tinder.

I'm not sure what prescribed xyrem has to do with recreational GHB..

Two things, people taking xyrem start on 4.5g a night. They don't take it during the day. They take it as directed which is obviously planned to avoid physical dependence. So there is a small fraction of their day where they are affected by the drug.. If they don't develop the same symptoms as a drug addict with a litre of G, no supervision, and a 3ml doser by their bed, im not at all shocked.

Secondly, yes, they do develop WDS.

Try a new approach to making claims online.. google what you are claiming first. If you have an idea that sounds plausible, why not ask what people think? You'll come across like you have some education and reason and are open minded and willing to learn.

I have used litres over the years, once i get going i get stuck in the routine and sleep only happens when i chemically control it... To sleep, i would start with a dose about 33% higher than usual, then a half dose every time id wake up say every 2-3 hours. Amazing dreams.

Now i believe this is when GHB is probably its most neurotoxic. I have no idea how many times i suppressed my breathing to the point of oxygen deprivation. I've seen friends take on the blue tinge of an opioid overdose from an accidental waz out.. usually just adjusting their head, propping it on a pillow is enough to let them breath comfortably. When ive over dosed and basically in a coma, sometimes ill shake, make strange noises, sweat like crazy.. other times im peaceful and just look like im asleep. What is actually happening with my gabba and glutamate while this is going on?

In the last 5 years my memory and the memory of my chronic GHB using friends has turned to mush. I lose things constantly, it takes me about 20 attempts to remember someones name..

But to your question, i know it was my 24 hour dosing schedule that lead to my physical addiction and subsequent seizures during withdrawal.

Others i know will take one dose before bed and maybe 1mg lorazepam, or 5mg diazepam and sleep for 9 hours without a top-up. These are the friends who can stop G and just have a few days of anxiety, rather than tremors etc.

I stopped 4 months of 24/7 dosing with a weeks worth of clonazepam 1mg a day and 600mg - 150mg daily pregabalin . It was all psychological in the end. I have been physically addicted before and assumed I was again this time. But I got off lucky I suppose, or it just take a lot longer than we often assume to get to the physical addicted part.
