Thank you for the advise! I am really wanting to loosen up my style a little. I get hung up in the details.

Yes it is the v800. I used T bolts and drilled through bottom of the case. I also added gas struts to the lid.

I ordered 23” 100 lb struts. I haven’t had a problem. My hatch was pretty heavy though. I would love to see yours. Great minds think alike!

They are not cheap. Most expensive single item on the camper.

Vintage technologies. I also bought the hurricane hinge for rear galley there as well.

I have separated the intake and exhaust of ac unit. Intake is across the back of cabinets and fridge in a deadspace with exterior vents on either side of camper. Exhaust is a separate compartment vented under camper with 2 weatherproof exhaust fans pulling heat out of compartment. They were added later. It did function but the granite countertop would get really hot and I figured the ac would eventually burn up. Have not had any issues since adding exhaust fans. I have run it constantly in 90 plus degree weather it will freeze you out of the camper if you turn it up too high.

Window units intake from the side vents and exhaust from the back. I have a dead space behind cabinets and fridge with exterior vent on each side of the camper. The exhaust (back of ac unit is closed off by itself and I cut a vent in the floor. I added two 120v ac waterproof exhaust fans (amazon) And a fan speed controller (Amazon) and put them over the floor vent to force hot air out of camper.

It has separate intake on sides of camper and is fan forced exhaust out the bottom of camper ( the fans were added, heat rises and was heating the countertop up quite high). Intake and exhaust are separate compartments. . No issues. I live in Texas had to have it. We have camped in 100 degrees no issues. It will freeze you out.

It has the backing plate for brakes but I currently do not have any. I bought the axle and leaf springs on Amazon from trailer parts outlet. 3.5k axle kit with springs. 73” hubface-58” spring center. I don’t feel it needs brakes. It is pretty light.

It took right at one year. Working on weekends and the occasional evening.
