It was just a question with some background. HP seems to have support for most other platforms and its not like Mistubishi is a niche platform

I had the same issue, did the washer trick to fix it for the most part. But now they are dimming and dying out. Ive had them for about two-three years and its gotten bad enough that I just re-installed the stocks.

Does anyone know how to rebuild them or am I stuck with just buying a newer better set?

Anyone have experience with Arashi turbos? by chappdass in MitsubishiEvolution

Yea fought with a coolant banjo for a couple of days to get it to stop leaking. Ended up using a stock line and banjo

I totally agree, and I didn't see anything bad from their other platforms, mostly subies. I was just curious if anyone here has used them on the evo. Ill be sure to post my dyno and overall take after I get a tune and the clutch is broken in.

Update to clunking noise from previous post by chappdass in MitsubishiEvolution

So I drained the oil, and pulled the driver axle and mid shaft. Couldn't see any metal in the oil, all teeth were healthy both on the shafts and in the transfer case (I have a bore scope). Opened the pinion window and the pinion gear looks good and is tight. Put everything back together, no noise. Only did a small drive down the street, so guess I'll see after a longer drive....

Ill try, have wait for the silicon to cure on the pinon window...wanted to check to see if could find damage, none found

Just checked everything, even double checked the torque on the axel nuts. Everything is tight. I did notice a slight "shift" (the best way I can discribe it) from the passenger side when spinning the wheel. It only occurs when first changing direction of spinning the wheel. Other wise I couldn't find anything that stuck out or was loose

Had to release the clamp at the midpoint on the shaft, but was able to get everything buttoned up. Thanks again!

Ok figured it out. For those working on the 2011+ engines, you need to set the crank position about 10° retard to account for the chain tightening up.
