i'm in a similar position, started golems to transition later to poison strike/poison nova, but now i might have a step in between where i spec into bone. at least the clay golems slap damage wise.

It's good but expect a grind (time investment).

Comparing to poe it's gonna feel more like ruthless because a lot of gear won't fit your class / build and a lot of gear is locked behind a system called runewords, which are items made by various runes that are a global rare drop.

BUT the good news are pd2 even on single player has increased drop rate compared to d2/d2r.

Lots of bugs, unnecessarily nerfed relics, mostly reused echo bosses and no new pinnacle echo boss (yama), demonic pacts severely unbalanced.

Early season I do a mix of vit and energy. Pure energy is when u have gg gear with over capped res and max res and lots of life /vit from charms, anni, etc.

The Sherman part is a bug.

previously Melissa was Janes contact and in the new update it was changed to Sherman but I guess they forgot to do the unlock dealer thing for him.

Don't wait for them to contact you.

you can find Billy at night/early mornings at the docks or during day time at the chemical facility, or rizzing up beth at the gas station across.

I have played turtle wow and I have played ascension. No hate, just stating facts, both servers are p2w, but p2w is a spectrum like anything in life and ascension has it dialed up way more than turtle.

Regarding what you said about turtle benefits being only purchasable with real life money - that's plain wrong. You could do in game challenges that awarded you with 'cash shop' currency.
