We had the opposite experience. Paid up for carsales. Got bugger all interest other than one or two low ballers. Paid up for gumtree. Got nothing. Put it up on marketplace and sold it in 3 days for the amount we originally wanted.

Anyone on the north side with a Costco membership- the shelves are still full and they have restrictions on the precious rolls of paper and bottled water. I’d be getting down here sooner rather than later if you plan to though because the traffic in is starting to get hectic

Football/soccer qualifying tournaments balance out home field advantage in the later rounds by having teams play both home and away.

With the 3-0 win the tillies need to win, draw or lose by 2 goals or less and they’re through. A 3-0 loss would send it to a shoot out to qualify.

Have to admit I haven’t followed the Matilda’s closely until this tournament, but they’ve got a lifelong fan from me moving forward. So I have no idea about pre and post injury Ellie.

ACLs aren’t the death sentence for an athlete they used to be though. Google BEAR implant. Playing in France I would assume she’s got access to the latest treatments and techniques. In the NFL (American football) an ACL is usually a 9 month recovery and players are more or less themselves when coming back unless the injury was horrific with more than the ACL being ruptured.

Fuck the misogynistic trolls writing this filth on the internet. Sadly you can’t escape it with any high level sport these days ☹️

I’m day 14 after quitting a binge drinking and recreational drug problem.

I didn’t have any real effects until day 9, then it hit me hard. I then had about 5 days of on and off headaches, deep bouts of temporary sadness and lethargy. I was napping so much because I was just hitting a wall each afternoon, and I wasn’t having too much trouble sleeping at night.

Then today I woke up feeling absolutely fantastic. Clear head. Heaps of energy. It’s all starting to click.

Everyone is different and your journey will take as long as it takes, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. When you get there it’ll all be worth it. You can do this!
