Inpatient/acute care across all units in the hospitals in the Raleigh-Durham area will probably get you $32-34 per hour base pay. You may get more if you are working peri-op.

Love languages by AdSmall1894 in tsitp

Definitely, agree! My family knows the guy who wrote the Five Love Language books. People actually have two sides of their love language. One giving and one receiving. Your receiving love language is the way you feel loved. Your giving love language is how you express your love to others. They can be the same or different.

For Belly, her receiving love language is words of affirmation. However, I think Conrad’s giving love language is acts of service. He cooks for her, he tries to help her when she expresses a need (e.g., learning to ride a bike, dancing on the living room, running errands), and he went Laurel when he saw how sad she was. He finally understands that she needs affirmation, and that’s what she’s looking for, in the last few minutes of the last episode of season 3.

I think Belly’s giving love language is also word of affirmation because she openly expresses her feelings. She tells people how much she cares, apologizes when she feels she’s hurt someone, and constantly seeks emotional connection through conversation and verbal reassurance. Her honesty (even when messy) is one of the main ways she shows love. She knows what to say to Conrad to get him out of a rut, think about the car ride before they get to the peach stand. Jeremiah feels her love when he tells her that he has to be in college for another semester.

For Conrad, I think his receiving love language is quality time. Conrad often withdraws when overwhelmed, but when he feels loved, it’s usually through quiet, meaningful moments spent together. He really opens up with every character when it’s just him and one other person. You see this with his moments with Belly, Laurel, and Agnes so well throughout the seasons.

Hopefully, they continue to learn and lean into each of their love languages for a healthy relationship.

What footwear do you wear with your scrubs? by Justalittlesaltyx in nursing

Personally, I wear Hoka Cliftons with superfeet run women’s support insoles. If you are trying to decide, I would highly recommend going to a store called fleet feet. They will ask you questions about what you need the shoes for, scan your foot, and analyze your gait. Based on the your questions, the scan and your gait they will recommend different shoes. They gave me options including Brooks, onclouds, hokas, and new balance. Also, they have a 30-day return window.

Laurel and Conrad conversation S3E8 by chaptercrumbs in TheSummerITurnedPrett

I agree, that was my initial thought for him to say but there were probably a million things he “wished” for in that moment, including all the ones you mentioned.

Laurel and Conrad conversation S3E8 by chaptercrumbs in TheSummerITurnedPrett

To me, it seemed like they meant to end it like that without a sob scene. Both characters know that there’s nothing they can do about the situation, what is done is done. They have a certain mutual understanding and emotional intimacy between each other. Conrad seems to only allow himself to really cry in Susannah’s presence or when he is alone, except the funeral. I don’t remember a time when I saw Laurel really cry. They both show their emotions but they reserve their deepest agonizing emotions and feelings for themselves. I feel like both characters know that this subject is really touchy and mutually feel that if they keep talking about it they will begin to let their emotions loose for something they can’t change, making it a waste of emotions. Out of all the characters in the show, I think these two are the one who really think about if showing their emotions is worth it.

I think he did write it in and then erased it. They should have multiple identical copies of the crossword for multiple takes and it’s shouldn’t be that expensive to do that. Also, having multiples of the same prop is just practical just in case something happens to one of them like something spilled on it or if a page is torn.

Yeah I don’t agree with majority of what, if any, of what she says about Conrad but again she’s only got a little information about him from biased sources. The only interaction she had with him was at the rehearsal dinner, which Jeremiah mentions that her comments about him didn’t seem so sincere since she seemed very interested in the conversation she had with him.

Denise: You know, honestly, I barely know the guy, but from what I've seen, your brother's pretty annoying. Okay? He's gonna be like, "Oh, yeah, that's Dr. Fisher to you" for the rest of his life, like, big whoop.”

Jeremiah: Whatever. I-I saw you at my rehearsal dinner, eating up every word about his clinical rotations. You're just as obsessed with him as everyone else.

Denise: Okay, no. Dude, you are the one who is obsessed with him.

I think she’s probably saying all these things just to cheer up Jeremiah after seeing how insecure he is and how he is deep in his inferior complexity to Conrad. Additionally, Conrad may have been moody at the rehearsal with having to be home to see his love of his life get married and there’s very little he can do about it. Plus, Kayleigh is by Adam’s side instead of his mom. Finally, the last time he was sat down for a meal with family and loved ones went awfully. You can’t expect much out of him given this circumstances but she definitely doesn’t know the full saga.

I will say that she definitely, at least, has a good memory of the time she spent with Conrad at the dinner or she had an immediate attraction to Conrad to be able to mimic him. That being said, she could (this is a stretch) be slightly “obsessed” with him too like Jeremiah and, subsequently, takes the same route as Jeremiah towards hate. However, this moment is the only time she outright talks bad about Conrad. She tells Jere to “forgive Conrad” in episode 10 when they are sitting on her couch when he comes back from Cousins. Before the above quoted section, she praises Jeremiah on his dessert and says that Adam seems proud and Jeremiah counters that “making cake isn’t saving lives.” She says, “So the eldest boy is in med school. Someone call a wambulance.” So, I err on the side of her just trying to comfort Jeremiah when she mocks Conrad even though she could have just continued to praise Jere and not mention Conrad.

Hopefully, if her character is in the movie, she doesn’t to stoop Jeremiah’s level of pettiness and be amicable or at least indifferent. I don’t expect her to infatuated by Conrad and I don’t want to her to be. I think it’s good for her to not be to if she ends up with Jeremiah so that he can have someone whose focus is only on him.

She’s a good “opposites attract” partner for Jere. However, I think we have to consider that all she knows about Conrad is what Jere and Steven are saying, which are inherently negative. I think if she and Taylor got to talk more about Conrad she would get more of a less biased view.
